Most people arrive describing a symptom rather than a service. Here is roughly what each one usually turns out to be, though the diagnostic is what confirms it, and it is free to phone and describe the problem first.

Usually a mechanical hard drive, not enough memory, or heat and dust, and it is usually fixable for far less than a replacement. On most older machines a solid-state drive is the single biggest improvement available.
Slow computer tune-up →“Pop-ups everywhere, or a warning telling me to call a number.”
A full-screen warning with a phone number is the scam itself, every time. Real infections are quieter. Either way it needs a proper hands-on clean, not a one-click scan.
Virus & malware removal →“The screen is cracked, black, or full of lines.”
Frequently the panel, sometimes just the cable, occasionally the mainboard, and those are three very different prices. Plugging into an external monitor tells you which before you spend anything.
Screen replacement →“It will not turn on, and my photos are on it.”
The best case of all, more often than people expect. A machine that will not power on usually has an undamaged drive, and the files frequently come off the same day.
Data recovery →“It is old and I have been told to just replace it.”
Sometimes true, often not. That answer is part of the diagnostic you already paid for, and it is the one a shop with a sales floor has least reason to give you honestly.
