I started fixing computers because the people I cared about couldn't get a straight answer anywhere else. That hasn't changed. The industry just got more impersonal, and I got more stubborn about being the opposite.
My name is Bryce Elliot, and I've been the “computer person” for my family and friends for as long as I can remember. I started building and repairing computers around age 15, so by now I have nearly 20 years of hands-on experience.
I grew up right here in Lake Country and have lived here my whole life. I hold a business degree in Digital Marketing from Okanagan College and have studied Computer Information Systems there as well, so I bring both the technical knowledge and the business sense to every job.
I also own Elliot Digital, a local digital marketing and web design company. Whether you need your computer fixed or your business found online, I can help.

Honesty first
I'll always tell you straight what's wrong and what it costs. No inflated repair bills, no unnecessary work.
Plain language
No tech jargon. I explain everything in plain English so you understand exactly what's happening with your device.
Respect for your time
A diagnosis the day you drop it off, most repairs done within two days unless a part is on order, and a phone call before anything is bought or replaced.
Part of the community
I live and work right here in Lake Country. Your trust means everything to me and I'm not going anywhere.
Windows laptops and desktops of every brand, Macs from the Intel era through Apple silicon, and machines I have built from parts. Screens, batteries, hinges, charging ports, keyboards, fans and thermal work. Drives that have died with the family photos still on them. Viruses, pop-ups and the scams wrapped around them. Machines that boot in five minutes, and machines that will not boot at all.
On the software side: Windows reinstalls done properly with your files backed up first, new-computer setup and transfers, backups configured so they run without you thinking about them, and the ordinary business of making a computer behave the way the person using it expects.
Close to twenty years of that, starting at fifteen with the machines belonging to people I cared about, which is a good school because you cannot hand those back half-fixed.

Knowing where someone stops is as useful as knowing where they start, so here is the honest boundary. In each of these cases I will say so on the phone rather than take the job and disappoint you.
Managed IT with a support contract
I am good for the things a one-person shop does well: individual machines, tune-ups, cleanups, reinstalls, recovery, new setups. I am not a helpdesk with a service-level agreement, and if that is genuinely what your business needs I will tell you.
Clean-room data recovery
A drive with physically destroyed platters needs a lab, not a bench. I refer those to a specialist at no markup and tell you at the assessment, rather than charging you for a long shot.
In-home visits far from Lake Country
They work well here in Lake Country because I am already local. Further out, a booked drop-off gets your machine fixed faster and cheaper than paying for my travel in both directions.
Work that is not worth doing
If a repair costs more than the machine is worth to you, or a five-minute fix is all it needed, you will hear that. Both cost me money in the moment, and both are why people come back.
