Most repairs land between $60 and $150 all in. It starts with a flat $40 diagnostic that tells you exactly what is wrong — and that $40 comes off your bill the moment you go ahead with the work. Labour after that is $60 an hour, and the common jobs have flat starting prices you can read below.
You get the whole price before any work starts, never after. If I find something I did not expect, I stop and phone you rather than adding it to the bill. Every repair carries a 30-day warranty on the work.
I find out exactly what is wrong and give you an honest, firm price. The $40 is credited straight to your bill when you go ahead with the repair.
Why it isn’t free
A free diagnosis is paid for somewhere, and it is almost always inside the repair quote. Charging for it separately is how the quote stays honest.
It buys you an answer you can act on — including "this is not worth fixing", which a shop recovering the cost of a free diagnosis has no reason to tell you.
If you decide not to go ahead, you have paid $40 for the truth and you owe nothing else. No pressure, no restocking fee, no runaround.
Flat starting prices for the common jobs, $60 an hour for anything custom. Parts are charged at what they cost to buy for your machine.
